Natural organic home made hair styling wax

Natural organic home made hair styling wax

A hair styling wax which is easy to DIY and can be used by women, men or teenagers

I have tested more formulas and I have adopted this one since over 1 year. It does not leave the hair greasy and it helps to style the hair the way I want.

I have replaced my previous styling wax that I actually loved a lot, but it contained Petrolatum, Paraffinum liquidum, etc. These are mineral oils, petroleum derivate that are potentially carcinogen.

INGREDIENTS

Now I can benefit from the properties of the organic and natural ingredients:

  • organic shea butter: 10 g
  • organic jojoba vegetable oil: 3 g
  • organic castor oil: 3 g
  • organic wax: 5 g. The quantity can be decreased if you want your final product to have a softer consistency
  • optional vitamin E: 2 drops

HOW TO PREPARE

Put all the ingredients into a bowl except vitamin E. One by one. Put the bowl into a pan with water.

Put the pan on the stove. You need to heat the water, so that the ingredients are melting into the bowl. Just pay attention that no water goes into the bowl.

When all ingredients have melted, you take the bowl out of the stove. You let it cool down a little bit and then you can add optionally 2 drops of vitamin E. If you waited to much and it has started to become solid before you add vitamin E then you just put it again on the stove for several seconds and it will quickly melt again.

Pour the liquid into a pot. When it cools completely, it will become solid.
